Yesterday evening around 7 PM, I "clinched" Paulding County, which also means I have clinched the entire Metro Atlanta area!!!

With the addition of Paulding County, that makes 86 out of Georgia's 159 counties that I have personally operated a motor vehicle in or through. Here is a map from Mob-Rule of all the Georgia counties I have "clinched"...



Nationwide, I have personally operated a motor vehicle in or through a total of 215 counties in 12 states and the District of Columbia.

If I were to count those counties that I have visited, but never personally operated a motor vehicle in or through, then I could add a least a couple of dozen more. Since they don't meet my personal criteria, I don't count them, but hopefully, during my lifetime, I will again revisit them and personally drive within their boundaries.

Over this year, I hope to add some more "clinched" counties to my collection as my wife and I take trips. If we fly, then we will rent a car so that we can do some exploring and also add some more Interstate mileage in addition to counties.
