Before we delve into the "sign goofs", here's a "shout out" to fellow hams Arnold, Bill, and Ron.
This afternoon around 12:30, I met them at Mike's Hot Dogs in Sandy Springs for lunch and a great "eyeball QSO" (face-to-face conversation). The food was great, the fellowship was great, and I appreciated the time we had together. Here are some photos...

As promised from the last blog, I have taken pictures of the "sign goofs" I found recently in the Alpharetta area.
First, here is the erroneous trailblazer sign to the southbound entrance ramp from Haynes Bridge Road to GA 400/US 19 (not GA 19)...

Next, here are overhead signs on Old Milton Parkway (GA 120) westbound at South Main Street (GA 9)...

On closer inspection of the GA 120 sign, we find the erroneous "LOOP" within the shield...

Apparently, the contractor got this mixed up with the
real GA 120 Loop in Marietta.
Earlier in the day, I had finally taken a picture of the corrected "TO I-285" trailblazer sign on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at Chamblee-Tucker Road in Chamblee. Here it is...

Tomorrow morning, Mary and I will be leaving for Florida, where we will see the sights in central and southern Florida (including the Florida Keys), get more Interstate miles under my belt, and "clinch" several more counties. I will be taking photos and, hopefully, get some new Florida "ROADGEEK-CAM!!!" video footage to share with y'all.
One final "shout out" to Scott, whom I met at the Starbucks on Haynes Bridge Road at Old Milton Parkway. Thanks for sharing your blog with me and for our extremely enlightening conversation. Good luck and God bless you and yours.

That's it for now. I gotta get some housework done and get packing. Thanks for reading and please visit often.
