This morning, from 7-9 AM, commuters on the GA 400 tollway in Atlanta got a free ride... thanks to
Maxwell House coffee.
Besides Atlanta, Maxwell House paid the tolls during that same time period today at selected tollbooths along expressways in Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Miami, Denver, and Pittsburgh, as a part of their "Brew Some Good" marketing campaign.
In addition to paying the tolls, commuters were treated to free coffee samples, plus Maxwell House pledged to donate money to
America's Second Harvest, a nationwide food bank dedicated to feeding less-fortunate people in communities across America.

- Drug maker Eli-Lilly pays the tolls and gives free Prozac to stressed-out commuters.
- Preparation H pays the tolls and gives commuters free samples to help alleviate their "car butt" from sitting in their vehicles during their dragged-out commutes.
- Pauly Shore pays the tolls and gives away DVDs of his "movies" that nobody would otherwise buy from the clearance bin.
Tomorrow, it's off to see my family and enjoy "Turkey Day". Thanks always for reading and may you and yours have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving.
