I have just taken the final piece of video footage I shot while driving along US 27 southbound in Chattanooga and produced it into the latest episode of "ROADGEEK-CAM!!!" Please click here to watch.

I liked all of the videos. I saw all of them in one sitting, as they weren't all that long.
I know that the videos were sped up, but it looked like Freewayjim and Son were swerving. I ain't mad at them, because I do it too, from time-to-time.
I went up to SR 316/University Parkway a few weeks ago after hearing that portions of the new interchange were open (via WSB-TV): SR 316 West to Pleasant Hill Road and I-85 South. It was very, very cool. Can't wait for it to be totally finished. Reply to this

All right, Steve, I just viewed your Chattanooga (TN) video. My mother, father and I went to Chattanooga about two years ago. We went there to go to the Tennessee Aquarium and ride the boat on the Tennessee River. It (the Aquarium) was all right, as was the boat ride.
We drove up US 27, I-24 and I-75. I like Tennessee and Alabama's way of continuing a lane (with the dotted lines) when it (the lane) enters an adjoining freeway/secondary road. Georgia hardly, if ever, does this. This in my opinion makes merging safer, because the dotted lines give a driver a little more time to merge in without stopping or going onto the shoulder.
