Hey, man, thanks for the shoutout. I was surprised to hear my name, lol.

      ---------------------------------------

Now for some south Fulton/Atlanta roadgeeking.

I went to check on the status of the new US 29 Alternate/SR 14 Alternate. I drove around Downtown Atlanta first, then I hit Cascade Road en route to Fulton Industrial Boulevard. I then went south on SR 70 to SR 92, and then turned north onto SR 92. I then turned west onto SR 166 from SR 92 north en route to Capps Ferry Road: the Douglas County end of South Fulton Parkway. I missed the turn, so I went up to the SR 5 junction, which is a newly-finished roundabout. I then came back to Capps Ferry.

Now, when I transitioned onto South Fulton Parkway from Capps Ferry, I noticed that SR 70 merges with South Fulton Parkway at Campbellton-Redwine Road, signed as north; however, it's not signed well (not all, really). I then arrived at the junction of SR 154 (Cascade-Palmetto Highway) and saw the start of US 29 Alternate/SR 14 Alternate. It's not signed too well, either.

So, I'll say it now: you're welcome, and I love your blog. I like your videos and your adventures through the southeast.

You are definitely welcome from me too, keep making posts and I'll keep reading!

Gotta agree with you on the liking of that 1970s Genesis too.

Whenever I can get to some kind of dvd recorder, I'll get the 1995 and 96 footage of Atlanta roads I have put online. Those videos show the freeways with no highway lighting. I cannot remember, but has Atlanta ever add any kind of overhead lighting to the freeways?
