Today, via the misc.transport.road newsgroup, I came across the following...

According to Overdrive Magazine's 2007 Highway Report Card, Georgia has received the following accoloades...

- In the "Most Improved Segment" category, Georgia's stretch of I-75 was ranked #5 (tied with Missouri's I-44).

- In the "Best Rest Stops" category, Georgia's rest areas were ranked at #4.

To see the rest of the categories and who/what else ranked where, please click here.

Having driven on I-75 between Atlanta and Florida at least once per year over the past several years, I always look forward to seeing how the widening construction in South Georgia is going along. As for Georgia's I-75 rest areas, I definitely give Georgia personal accolades on their cleanliness.

What are your thoughts on our rest areas and I-75's construction in South Georgia? Please feel to share them by posting a comment.

That's it for now. Thanks for reading and please come back again.
