The Great Georgia-Florida Roadtrip of 2008: Update From Tarpon Springs

After an all-day roadtrip from Tallahassee to Tarpon Springs, here's an update...
- Added 29 more miles of I-10 under my belt, starting at Exit 196 (FL 263/Capital Circle) to Exit 225 (US 19/Florida-Georgia Parkway).
From I-10, we took the following routes...
- US 19 to Perry - US 27 to FL 51 in Mayo - FL 51 back to US 19/98/27 Alt - US 19 to Tarpon Springs
As a result, here are the newly "clinched" Florida counties in order of "clinching"...
- Jefferson - Madison - Taylor - Lafayette - Gilchrist - Dixie - Levy - Citrus
I've also shot some footage of I-10 in Tallahassee for another future "ROADGEEK-CAM!!!" episode, plus snapped a few more pictures (including a set of apparently brand new "I-10 Florida" shields I found at Exit 196).
For the next 3 days, we're gonna check out Tarpon Springs's Greek community and see the mermaids at Weeki Wachee.
After our 3 days here, it's off to Lakeland to see Mary's family for the rest of the week.
That's it for now. I'm tired and headed back to the hotel room.
