Tonight, on "GRG On BTR", I had the pleasure of hosting "Millenium Highway" webmaster and fellow roadgeek H.B. Elkins of Beattyville, Kentucky.

Please click here to listen to it.

I've also produced another episode of "ROADGEEK-CAM!!!" from "The Great Georgia-Florida Roadtrip of 2008".

This new episode features the South Georgia Parkway/Corridor Z (US 27/280/GA 1/520) through Fort Benning, Georgia. Please click here to view it.

In other Georgia road news...

Atlanta's Downtown Connector (I-75/85) paving project continues, this time with several downtown exit and entrance ramps on the southbound side closed for the weekend. Please click here to read the AJC article.

Just today in Gwinnett County, a new tunnel has opened at the intersection of Buford Highway (US 23/GA 13) and Pleasant Hill Road. This new tunnel routes Pleasant Hill traffic under both Buford Highway and the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks. This eliminates the at-grade railroad crossing on Pleasant Hill, which was just mere feet from the Buford Highway intersection. Please click here to read the AJC artlcie.

That's it for now. Thanks to H.B. for being my guest on "GRG On BTR", and to you for listening, watching, and reading.
