At first, I noticed that the directional signs to Alpharetta's new ampitheater in Encore Park had the "Encore Park" removed from them, so I suspected that Verizon Wireless's name was going to be slapped on them... and lo and behold, it was.
On US 19/GA 400, the big green signs for "Encore Park Ampitheater" for Exits 9 and 10 were replaced with brand new brown signs saying "Verizon Wireless Ampitheather/Exit 9" (northbound) and "Verizon Wireless Ampitheater/Exit 10" (southbound). I'll snap a photo of one of the new signs and post it on the next blog for y'all to see.
After looking at the ticket prices Ticketmaster is charging folks to see the shows (mostly "oldie has beens"), Mary and I decided that perhaps we'd just be better off buying the CDs or downloading from iTunes. Perhaps they should put up a big yellow sign with flashing lights saying something like "HIGH TICKET PRICES AHEAD". Granted, we like many of the acts they've hosted so far, such as The Eagles, but not enough to be robbed by Ticketmaster.
In the meantime, please enjoy this Eagles "roadgeek tune"...
That's it for now. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the "roadgeek tune", and please come back again.
