New HOV Lanes - I-85/GA 316 Interchange
Yesterday in Gwinnett County, the new HOV lanes for GA 316 westbound and I-85 southbound officially opened for traffic at the new "Shack Stack", a.k.a. "Linguini Junction".
This week, I upgraded our iTunes software to version 8.0 and decided to get a few more tunes.
For this latest round, I decided to get me some more "old school" country and added the following songs from the 1960s and 1970s...
"The Carroll County Accident" - Porter Wagoner (1968) "L.A. International Airport" - Susan Raye (1971 - Official Song of LAX as of 2003) "Roll On Big Mama" - Joe Stampley (1975)
A Couple Of Videos
For your entertainment, here's a classic cartoon with sort of a "roadgeek" theme...
And finally, here's some "roadgeek headbanging" courtesy of my good friend "FreewayJim"...
That's it for now. Thanks for reading and please come back again.
