Thanks to the hard work and dedication of fellow Metro Atlanta area "elementaryhistoryteacher", the Georgia Blog Carnival's 54th Edition is now available.
This edition features recent entries from several Georgia-based or Georgia-centric blogs, including my recent entry regarding the General Assembly's failure to pass a transportation sales tax referendum bill.
Please click here to see the carnival.Speaking of the transportation sales tax, last weekend, I e-mailed letters to the editors of newspapers throughout Georgia. I even posted it on a couple of different local newspaper "blogsites", including the Roswell Neighbor.
Please click here to read it.
NOTE: If you happen to spot my "letter to the editor" in any Georgia newspaper, then please let me know by e-mailing
webmaster at georgiaroadgeek dot com and thanks in advance for doing so.
And finally,
American Road Magazine recently reported on a new public television series called
Paving The Way: The National Park-to-Park Highway. I've seen a preview clip via the magazine's website and it looks like it ought to be a very good historical piece.
That's it for now. Thanks again to "elementaryhistoryteacher" for featuring my blog and to y'all for reading.
