Today, we spent a great day here in northern Lake County with our friends Robin and Jennings. They were great hosts and I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality.
Tomorrow, Mary and I are back on the road. Next stops are Orlando to see her sister Polly and then, we're off to Folkston and Waycross to watch some trains at the famous "Folkston Funnel" and the Okeefenokee Swamp.
Tomorrow's "roadgeek goals" are as follows...
- Drive the rest of I-4 from the Beachline Expressway (FL Toll 528) to it's end at I-95 near Daytona Beach. - Drive more of I-295 in Jacksonville. (Once I-295 is signed all around on FL 9A, I'll come back later to "clinch" it once and for all.) - "Clinch" Seminole County, Florida. - "Clinch" Georgia's Charlton, Brantley, and Ware Counties.
That's it for now. Thanks again to Robin and Jennings for hosting us and to y'all for reading. Please stay tuned to this blog, my Facebook group, and my Twitter page for more "news from the road".
