Mary and I have arrived back in Georgia from Lake County and Orlando.
Route taken from Eustis...
- SR 44 to US 441
- US 441 to FL Toll 429
- FL Toll 429 to FL Toll 408 (Orlando East-West Expressway)
- FL Toll 408 to my sister-in-law's house.
From Orlando...
- FL Toll 417 (Central Florida Greeneway) to FL Toll 528 (Beachline Expressway)
- FL Toll 528 to I-4
- CLINCHED SEMINOLE COUNTY!!!
- I-4 to I-95 (CLINCHED ALL OF I-4!!!)
- i-95 to I-10 (Saw the construction and drove on the new "flyover" from I-95 NB to I-10 WB. Beats the old left-hand exit.)
- I-10 to I-295
- I-295 to US 1/23
- US 1/23/301 to Folkston (CLINCHED CHARLTON COUNTY!!!)
The "railfans" tell me there's an Amtrak train 7 miles south of us here at "the funnel", so that's it for now. Thanks for reading and please come back often. (Next Stop: Waycross.)
