Yesterday (Tuesday), Mary and I spent the first half of the day at Fort Pulaski and made a quick jaunt to Tybee Island to see the end of US 80.
The "My Other End Is In San Diego" and "END US 80" signs were gone, but there was a granite marker noting US 80's end and its statewide designation as the Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway.

Since leaving Savannah, here's what I've done "roadgeek-wise"...
- "Clinched" all of I-95 in Georgia. - Traveled I-95 in South Carolina from the Georgia state line to US 17 (Exit 33) - "Clinched" South Carolina's Beaufort, Colleton, Charleston, and Berkeley Counties. - "Clinched" I-526 (Mark Clark Expressway). - Driven I-26 from its end in downtown Charleston to Exit 209A. - "Clinched" the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge over Charleston Harbor ("ROADGEEK-CAM!!!" footage coming soon).
Here's my first photo of "new" South Carolina state highway signs...
... and "rush hour" along I-26 westbound in North Charleston (sort of reminds me of home)...
We're spending 2 more days in Charleston and seeing as much of it as we can before heading back home to GRG HQ.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading and please visit often.
